The All New 2012 Toyota Camry

Most auto fans are accustomed to seeing new car models coming out every year.  In fact, innovation and advancement seem to be corner stones of the auto industry.  With every manufacturer trying to outsell their competition, it can often be hard to keep track of what model is popular this year.  There are, however, a few cars which seem to withstand this constant competition and remain consistently popular from year to year.  As one of the best selling cars for over a decade now, the 2012 Toyota Camry has proven itself as a successful and popular ride.  With 2012 quickly approaching, the all new 2012 Toyota Camry is set to continue this tradition.

It seems that Toyota had one main thing in mind when designing the new Camry.  They wanted to build on the success and popularity of previous models.  Toyota is trying to keep what works, improve what doesn’t and accent the most popular aspects of past models.  The new Toyota Camry is certainly a modern heir to the popular Camry line and is sure to please fans of this model.  While the Camry may not be known for being particularly sporty or even sexy, it has a reputation for being incredibly reliable.  In fact, many of the Camrys sold over the past years are still on the road today.

Theme of 2012 Toyota Camry

One key theme for the 2012 Toyota Camry seems to be options.  The new model sports a number of different option packages and models for the car.  In fact, there are five different models to choose from.  The new Totyota Camry 2012 models come in an L, LE, SE, XLE, Hybrid LE and Hybrid XLE.  Toyota has done this to ensure that no matter what type of car someone may be looking for they can find the perfect match with the new Toyota Camry.  The different packages all come with a few different options, some of which are more cosmetic than others.  The Hybrid models have been designed to keep up with current trends in the auto industry and allow car buyers the option of extreme fuel efficiency.

One of the biggest improvements that can be found across all models of the new Toyota Camry is the interior.  While no one expects a Camry to compete with a hot rod, it hasn’t been known for its incredibly stylish interiors.  The new Toyota Camry 2012 models, however, have a vastly improved interior.  One of the most noticeable aspects of the renovated interior is the instrument panel which has now been recessed to give it a nice multidimensional feel and has been accented with stitching across the dash.

Another welcome change that the new Toyota Camry models are bringing is increased space in the interior. With larger interiors becoming a bigger selling point, the Camry designers have done everything they can to add extra space where ever they could.  Looking at the interior it’s clear to see that there is more room all around than on previous models.  The designers of the all new 2012 Camry have also managed to squeeze in a few more inches of leg room for the back row of seats which means that all passengers will be relaxed and comfortable.  The fabric of both the seats and interior has been greatly improved and the cosmetic touches, such as the stitching and accent lights, really go a long way.

The new 2012 Toyota Camry also comes with a number of amenities.  The more expensive option packages will, naturally, come with a few more additions than the other models but the entire line gets a nice list of bonuses.  Smart phone and iPad integration are standard for all models and owners can even integrate their smart phones into the car’s systems and run certain apps such as Bing and Pandora.  The higher end models, such as the XLE, also include heated chairs, a JBL sound system and a rear back up camera.  All of the new Toyota Camry 2012 models have a number of different airbags including knee and side impact.

The all new 2012 Camry is, however, about more than just looks and amenities.  It seems that Toyota has paid special attention to the LE, SE and Hybrid models as if they were their own separate vehicles.  The traditional engines come in both 2.5 liter four cylinder models with 178 horsepower and 3.5 liter V6 models with 200 horsepower.  The hybrid model has an incredible fuel efficiency at 43 miles city and 39 miles highway.  The traditional engines have decent fuel efficiency but Toyota is betting that fuel conscious buyers will opt for the hybrid.

As one of the most popular cars of the last decade, the new 2012 Toyota Camry has a lot to live up to.   With a redesigned interior that offers increased leg room and stylish new ascetics, the new Camry is set to compete with other luxury cars.  The new Toyota Camry also contains all of the modern technology that any car buyer will come to expect.  When you couple all of the new design and technology with the horsepower and fuel efficiency, it seems to be a good bet that the new Toyota Camry 2012 models will continue the tradition of popularity and reliability started by the previous models.
